When Finish Line is turned off for a reporter’s Timesheet Template or Timesheet Position, the Timesheet Dashboard still displays information about their service progress and remaining time. Finish Line status labels do not appear.
Progress Information
Reporters see:
- Approved Hours
- Daily Average
- Weekly Average
Approved Hours includes time from submitted timesheets that have been fully reviewed and signed by all required Timesheet Supervisors and Timesheet Directors.
If the reporter’s Timesheet Position has Goal Hours greater than 0, the dashboard also displays:
- Remaining Hours
- Remaining Weeks
- Weekly Goal
This information appears in a section labeled for the reporter’s Goal Hours, such as How To Reach 300 Hours.

Understanding Remaining Weeks
Remaining Weeks shows how much time remains in the reporter’s term.
The calculation uses the time between the reporter’s completed timesheet periods and their Personal End Date and accounts for applicable Blackout Days.
Depending on the time remaining, the dashboard may display weeks and days.
EXAMPLE: Remaining Weeks may display as 8 Weeks, 3 Days, 2 Weeks, 1 Day, or 0 Weeks, 4 Days.
If no additional days remain beyond the full weeks, only the number of weeks appears.
EXAMPLE: If exactly three weeks remain, the dashboard displays 3 Weeks.
Understanding Weekly Goal
Weekly Goal estimates how many hours the reporter should complete each week to reach their Goal Hours by the end of their term.
The calculation considers:
- The reporter’s Remaining Hours
- The number of Available Days remaining
- The reporter’s Average Available Days Per Week
- Applicable Blackout Days
- Dates on the reporter’s Personal Time Off Calendar
An Available Day is a day when the reporter is expected to serve and is not designated as a Blackout Day or Time Off Day.
The Weekly Goal will never be greater than the reporter’s Remaining Hours.
When Seven Or Fewer Available Days Remain
If the reporter has seven or fewer Available Days remaining, the Weekly Goal equals all of their Remaining Hours.
EXAMPLE: If a reporter has 4 Available Days remaining and 48 Remaining Hours, their Weekly Goal is 48 Hours.
At this point, the Weekly Goal represents all hours the reporter still needs to complete before their term ends rather than a pace across future weeks.
Positions With 0 Goal Hours
A Timesheet Position can be configured with 0 Goal Hours when reporters do not have a required hour total.
When Finish Line is turned off for one of these positions, reporters see:
- Approved Hours
- Daily Average
- Weekly Average
- Remaining Weeks
They do not see:
- Remaining Hours
- Weekly Goal
- A How To Reach X Hours section
Finish Line Information That Does Not Appear
When Finish Line is turned off, reporters do not see Finish Line status labels or related status messaging, including:
- Ahead
- On Track
- Behind
- Really Behind
Finish Line Status normally indicates a reporter’s progress toward completing their Goal Hours by their Personal End Date.
Desktop And Mobile
The same progress and pacing information is available in the web version of the Impact Suite and the mobile app.
